About Membership

According to the Constitution of APAARI, membership in the Association shall be open to national agricultural research institutions, councils, organizations and universities from countries of the region, as well as agricultural research and development fora in Asia-Pacific and other regions. In countries where agricultural research is handled directly by a government department, the relevant unit/bureau is eligible to become a member of the Association.

APAARI’s member institutions working in agri-food research and innovation in Asia-Pacific and beyond increased from nine at the APAARI establishment to over 76 to date. Through collective action, they contribute to the realization of the APAARI vision, mission and goal, and ultimately to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
