Greetings from APAARI !

 

Welcome to aparis-forum - an electronic forum for sharing and exchanging of
your ideas, experiences and information to strengthen the APARIS.

 

I am sure that you must have received invitation from aparis-forum. I would
request you to cooperate and actively participate in this forum for
strengthening the APARIS programmes to improve exchange of agricultural
information and knowledge systems in Asia and the Pacific region.

 

APARIS identifies that access to policy information on agricultural research
for development is not fully accessible or information resources are
scattered across different organizations/ Ministries at national level in
the region. It is felt necessary to organize these information resources for
easy access and optimal use of information for better decision making.
APARIS would take the initiation of developing the information resource base
on agricultural research policy with your cooperation and contribution.
Therefore, I would request you to provide important sources of information
on agricultural policy in your country. Please send website addresses (URLs)
of national plan documents, agricultural reports, research studies,
government policies / schemes / projects/ evaluation reports/ R&D reports
etc. that reflect agricultural policy of the country. APARIS would develop
and organize the information resource base for improving access to policy
information on AR4D in Asia and the Pacific region. We believe that you are
the better professional to provide such important information and help us to
build the information resource base. We understand that your cooperation is
necessary to complete this task and we hope that you would spare some of
your valuable time and help us to improve agricultural information systems
in the region by providing your important input. Also, I would request your
suggestions on this activity for improvement.
