[Attaluri (APAARI)]

Dear APARIS-Forum Members,

 

We, at APAARI, are glad to inform that APAARI has signed the Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok on
12th February 2010 in a ceremony held at AIT. The MoU was signed by Dr Raj
Paroda, Executive Secretary, APAARI and Professor Said Irandoust, President,
AIT. Dr Jonathan, Director AIT Extension; Professor Rakshit, Vice-President,
Research, AIT; Dr Attaluri, APARIS Coordinator and Mr Saha, Liaison Officer,
APAARI were present on the occasion.

 

Under the MoU, both APAARI and AIT Extension would collaborate in organizing
capacity building programmes in the areas of ICT/ICM for sustainable
agricultural development in the region; undertake joint projects and
programmes that foster use of ICT/ICM applications in AR4D in Asia-Pacific
region and exchange expertise and knowledge to strengthen APARIS activities
in the region.
