How can the STDF help meet developing countries’ safe trade needs? Learn more about STDF’s knowledge platform and grant mechanism
The STDF is a global partnership that helps developing countries improve their food safety, and animal and plant health capacity to meet SPS requirements for trade, based on international standards. It provides a platform that brings together stakeholders from across agriculture, health, trade and development to discuss SPS capacity building needs, share experiences and good practice, and leverage additional funding. The STDF also provides seed funding to beneficiaries for the development and implementation of collaborative and innovative SPS projects.
Beneficiaries of STDF projects include Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
