- Signing of an MOU with the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa
— Strengthening Food Security through Science-Based Soil Management Technologies —
On August 22, 2025, JIRCAS and the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on international collaboration.
Under this agreement, JIRCAS will cooperate with FARA and the “Soil Initiative for Africa (SIA)” to promote and scale up soil health technologies for smallholder farmers in Africa.
This milestone represents an important step toward strengthening food security and contributing to economic development in Africa through sustainable agriculture.
