Grow Your Plant Health Expertise: Discover the IPPC Plant Health Campus

Background

What if every plant health expert and enthusiast had free, high-quality capacity development materials available anytime, everywhere, even with limited internet connectivity? The IPPC Plant Health Campus is a new global learning platform developed by the IPPC Secretariat and the FAO elearning Academy, with support from the European Union. It provides multilingual certified self-paced e-learning courses, practical guides, and tools, on key phytosanitary systems, to support national implementation, personal learning, and academic integration.

The webinar can be attended as an interactive online session on Zoom, where sharing perspectives and asking questions to experts is encouraged. The session is also recorded and therefore available at any time, through the FAO elearning Academy: elearning.fao.org.

Objectives of the session

  • Get a full overview of the platform, including a live demonstration of its key features
  • Learn how plant protection organizations and other stakeholders are already using the IPPC Plant Campus in their daily work
  • Explore how the Campus can be integrated into national capacity development efforts and academic programmes
  • Connect with others working to strengthen phytosanitary capacity globally

Language

  • English with French simultaneous interpretation
